Ravi grew up in a Christian household after his mother, who came to London from India as a Hindu, became a christian when she saw the love of Jesus through the local church. He became a christian in his early teens, but came to a deeper understanding of quite how much the Lord Jesus had done for him rather later in life. Ravi is married to Nic, and has 3 energetic boys. They have lived in Brockley since 2003.
Peter grew up in Essex where he was brought up in a Christian home. At 13 he started following Jesus for himself when at a camp he heard and saw how Jesus had come as an act of love for those who were by no means lovable. He is very thankful for the volunteers whose words and behaviour conveyed the good news about Jesus and hopes that he can now do the same as he works with Grace Church Brockley. Before moving to London in September 2020 he worked for a local supermarket in Essex. He enjoys bad jokes, good books, and good films. He’s currently trying to find a hobby as his old pastimes of ballroom dancing and Thai kickboxing aren’t easy to do whilst social distancing.
